MARIAN SELL
Born in Düsseldorf, Sell began her career assisting photo-artist Ansgar M. van Treeck, where she learned everything about photography on large format cameras and slide film and developed a passion for lighting. She moved to Hamburg as technical assistant to H. W. Briese( of Briese lighting fame) before hopping to Paris to learn more about fashion photography. After working as studio assistant at PIN-UP Studio for two years, and then lighting assistant for Bruno Dayan, Sell started shooting on her own until, in her own words:“ Love and the financial crisis pushed me out of Paris to New York.” In the Big Apple, Sell started working as Lighting Director for Alexi Lubomirski and“ learned from him how to finally be a grown up.” Marian’ s work has appeared in numerous magazines, including Vogue.
VINCENT PETERS
Born in Bremen, Germany, Vincent Peters moved to New York City in 1989 at the age of 20 to work as a photographer’ s assistant. After returning to Europe in 1995, he worked for various art galleries and on personal projects before starting his career in 1999, at Giovanni Testino’ s agency as a fashion photographer. He has established himself with a recognizable style, and major fashion brands like La Perla, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, L’ Oréal, Lancôme, Nike, Levi’ s and many others are among his clients. His photographs have appeared in Vogue, GQ, The Sunday Times, Numéro and Glamour.
ANNA BRANSON
Makeup artist and Southern Belle Anna Branson, originally from Raleigh, North Caroline( Go Duke!), is now a nature loving So-Cal gal taking inspiration from her local landscape. When not jet-setting across the globe, you can usually find Anna trying on new lipsticks while hiking nude up Mount Baldy and eating a pack of Skittles. No, honestly.
JOANNE BLACK
Joanne is a former Irish model and Miss Ireland. Fashion has always been in her life, working as a model from young age and now as a celebrity stylist. Her love of fashion, music, art and the creative world hugely inspire her work. Joanne specialises in red carpet, editorial and advertising, working with high end luxury brands.
MEYGHAN
The enigmatic“ M”… okay, we can at least reveal her first name … Meyghan was a model who decided to take power into her own hands by picking up a welding torch. The result was( wh) ORE HAüS STUDIOS, a furniture design and fabrication studio based out of Downtown Los Angeles. At first a tongue-incheek play on the word“ ore”, the name now embodies a semantic shift from a sexually derogatory implication to a bad-ass and empowering connotation. Drawing from her background in fashion and photography, Meyghan shoots her own images and promotional material. Frequently turning these sittings into spontaneous self portraits, she has created a brand that is provocative and unapologetically feminine built atop a solid foundation of steel and stone.
KESLER TRAN
A regular Treats! contributor, Kesler Tran works out of Los Angeles and specializes in fashion, editorial and beauty. We asked him to describe himself and he responded:“ I love nature walks and long romantic jogs to the bank.” When we told him that was a little short for a bio he added:“ I also love natural lighting and blondes.” Perhaps our favorite Kesler quote though is when an interviewer asked what got him started in photography and he replied:“ Nothing, really. I just bought a really expensive camera.”
